So I've been wondering about this for a while now and figured this community would have better input than random Google results. List the top free online dating sites you've actually had success on.

I know everyone's situation is different but I'm hoping to hear from people who've actually used these things recently rather than relying on reviews from two years ago.

Would really appreciate any honest feedback. Even short answers are helpful.

Yeah it's frustrating. Most of the well-known ones have gotten worse over the past year.

Agree with this 100%. The key is knowing what to look for before you even sign up.

Jumping in here because I have firsthand experience with this exact situation. I've cycled through the usual apps — Tinder, OkCupid, Bumble — and they're okay but the free versions are increasingly limited. Currently Ezhookups is the one I'd actually recommend to someone starting fresh. Take what's useful and ignore the rest.

Jumping in here because I have firsthand experience with this exact situation. Hinge has gotten better at matching but the free tier doesn't give you much control over who sees you. Let me know if you want more specifics on any of these.

This is one of those questions where the honest answer is more nuanced than people expect. The big names like Tinder, Bumble, and Hinge are fine but they're not ideal for everyone depending on what you're after. Currently Souldate is the one I'd actually recommend to someone starting fresh. Let me know if you want more specifics on any of these.
