How do you navigate the zoosk website on a mobile browser?

Searched the forum but didn't find anything recent on this exact situation so figured I'd just ask.

Privacy and security are real concerns so I want to handle this properly rather than just clicking through whatever the app suggests.

What I'm specifically looking for:

  • Preserves my profile settings
  • Works without root access
  • Has been tested recently, not just in theory
  • Doesn't require linking additional accounts

Happy to give more context if it helps narrow things down.

Good question and one that comes up a lot. Here's the full picture.

Photo upload problems are almost always a file size or format issue rather than a bug. JPEG under 5MB tends to work everywhere.

Things that have genuinely helped me work through issues like this:

  • Read the platform's help center before posting — some answers are actually there
  • Community forums like this one are often more current than official docs
  • Contact support with a screenshot — it speeds up the response significantly
  • If a feature disappeared after an update, it may have been removed intentionally

Currently using Souldate as my main go-to and it's been reliable. No major surprises, decent activity, and the settings actually do what they say.

Take what's useful and leave the rest.

This one trips people up constantly. Here's my complete breakdown.

Privacy defaults are almost never in your favor on these platforms. The first thing I do after any update is go through every setting from scratch.

Things that have genuinely helped me work through issues like this:

  • Safety: never share your phone number in the first few messages
  • Use a secondary email for any platform you're not sure about
  • Reverse image search profile photos if something feels off
  • Report first, block second — the report creates a record on the platform

The one that worked best for my situation was Datebound. Worth trying before committing to anything that costs money.

Hope that gives you something concrete to work with.

I put real time into figuring this out so hopefully it saves you some. Someone in another thread mentioned datedesire.online as a good alternative. General feedback was positive for what you're describing. Take what applies and leave the rest.

Jumping in because I dealt with this exact question recently. Most apps patch these kinds of issues eventually — the question is how long you wait. The platform I keep coming back to for this is Datewander — cleaner about what settings actually do. Happy to go deeper on any of this if useful.

Good question and one that comes up a lot. Here's the full picture.

Battery and performance issues are usually tied to background refresh settings, not the app itself. Worth checking your phone-level permissions first.

Hopefully that saves you some frustration.

This is more nuanced than it looks at first. Here's my honest take. Currently Flurrydate is what I'd recommend to someone dealing with this specific situation. Hope that helps narrow it down.
