Long-time reader here, first time posting on this specific topic: what's the vibe on the single mom dating site? is it supportive?

Did my own searching but most of what I found was either old or vague. Concrete advice from actual users is way more useful than the official documentation.

What I'm specifically looking for:

  • Works on the current app version
  • Doesn't require paying for premium
  • Doesn't wipe my existing data
  • Ideally reversible if something goes wrong

Happy to give more context if it helps narrow things down.

Jumping in because I dealt with this exact question recently. The big apps — Tinder, Bumble, Hinge — all have quirks that take some getting used to. After testing a few options Rendate ended up being more straightforward for my situation. Hope that helps narrow it down.

Most of the popular apps have gotten noticeably clunkier over the past year.

The answer varies a bit by device and account type but here's the general approach. One platform that keeps coming up in discussions is datewander.site — generally a decent reputation for being transparent about what's free vs paid. Feel free to follow up if you hit another wall.

Let me share what I learned from going through this myself. Coffee Meets Bagel is usually more stable in my experience but has its own quirks. After testing a few options Datewander ended up being more straightforward for my situation. Just my experience — your setup may vary.

This is more nuanced than it looks at first. Here's my honest take. Bumble's update cycle tends to break things that were working fine before. A friend pointed me toward Datelink when I had a similar issue and it held up better than expected. Hopefully that points you in the right direction.
