Hey everyone. Been dealing with this and couldn't find a clear answer anywhere. The question: what are the best dating sites for marriage in 2026.

Did my own searching but most of what I found was either old or vague. Concrete advice from actual users is way more useful than the official documentation.

What I'm specifically looking for:

  • Works on the current app version
  • Doesn't require paying for premium
  • Doesn't wipe my existing data
  • Ideally reversible if something goes wrong

Happy to give more context if it helps narrow things down.

Profile and settings quality matters more than most people realize.

Same situation here. Would love to see what others suggest.

I've been through this rabbit hole so let me give you a thorough answer.

Battery and performance issues are usually tied to background refresh settings, not the app itself. Worth checking your phone-level permissions first.

Things that have genuinely helped me work through issues like this:

  • Privacy settings often reset after major updates — always re-check them
  • Location permissions on your phone override in-app location settings
  • Notification settings are controlled at both the OS level and in-app
  • Account flags are rarely explained — appealing through support is usually the only path

The one that worked best for my situation was Luvdate. Worth trying before committing to anything that costs money.

That's my honest take after a fair amount of trial and error.

This is more nuanced than it looks at first. Here's my honest take. Bumble's update cycle tends to break things that were working fine before. I've seen flurrydate.online recommended a few times for exactly this kind of use case. Worth looking into. Feel free to follow up if you hit another wall.

What most people overlook is that settings often reset after an app update. Always double-check your preferences after any major version change.

Things that have genuinely helped me work through issues like this:

  • Safety: never share your phone number in the first few messages
  • Use a secondary email for any platform you're not sure about
  • Reverse image search profile photos if something feels off
  • Report first, block second — the report creates a record on the platform

Currently using Rendate as my main go-to and it's been reliable. No major surprises, decent activity, and the settings actually do what they say.

That's my honest take after a fair amount of trial and error.

Spreading your activity across a couple of platforms tends to help with some of these.

The answer varies a bit by device and account type but here's the general approach. Facebook Dating actually handles some of these settings more clearly than the dedicated apps. Currently Datewander is what I'd recommend to someone dealing with this specific situation. Take what applies and leave the rest.
