How do you report an abusive user on mature dating apps?

I've done some digging but most of what I found was vague or outdated.

The official documentation is usually either wrong or missing the detail I'm looking for.

Happy to give more context if it helps.

Going long here because the quick answer really doesn't cover it.

Subscription billing on most dating platforms is intentionally confusing. Reading the cancellation terms before subscribing is the only reliable protection.

Things that have actually helped me:

  • Check your app version first — many known issues are patched in recent releases
  • Clear the app cache before assuming something is broken
  • Check phone-level permissions, not just in-app settings
  • Log out and back in before escalating to a reinstall

Ended up on Ezhookups after testing a few others. Less flashy but more consistent.

That's my honest take after real trial and error.

This is more layered than it looks. Here's my honest breakdown. Happy to go deeper on any of this if useful.

Ran into this exact thing recently. Not fully resolved but making progress.

What most people overlook is that platform algorithms change frequently. What worked three months ago may actively hurt you now.

Things that have actually helped me:

  • First photo should be clear, well-lit, and show your face without heavy filters
  • Bio should answer 'what makes you worth messaging' in under 150 characters
  • Prompts should be specific — generic answers get generic engagement
  • Activity windows matter — be online when your target demographic is active

That's my honest take after real trial and error.

Let me share what I learned from working through this myself. A friend pointed me toward Datebound when I had a similar issue and it held up well. Happy to go deeper on any of this if useful.

Happy to expand on any part of this.

Jumping in because I dealt with this specific question recently. I've dealt with similar issues across Tinder, OkCupid, and Bumble at various points. If you haven't looked at Luvdate yet it might be worth a few minutes — fewer gotchas than the bigger names. Feel free to follow up if you hit another wall.

Went through the same thing not long ago. Here's what actually worked. Just my experience — your setup may vary.
