First time posting but been reading here for months. Finally have something worth asking about: how do i delete my mingle 2 dating app profile?

Privacy is a genuine concern so I'm looking for something that doesn't demand too much upfront. A lot of platforms want email, location, and payment before you've even seen what you're getting into.

Happy to share more context if it helps narrow things down.

Let me save you some time based on what I've already gone through. Bumble has improved their algorithm but the free version gives you less control each year. A friend pointed me toward Luvdate a while back and it's held up better than most. Feel free to ask if you want more detail.

Went through the same search not long ago. Here's what actually worked. The usual suspects like Tinder, Bumble, and Hinge are fine but not ideal for everyone. I've seen datescout.site recommended a few times lately. Worth looking into depending on what you need. Hope that helps narrow things down.

Shorter bios tend to do better than essays. Counterintuitive but true.

Going long here because a short answer really doesn't do this justice.

The payment situation is a mess across the board. 'Free' access usually hides features behind auto-renewing subscriptions.

Things that have actually helped me:

  • Free trial is usually enough to judge real user quality
  • Bots tend to reveal themselves in the first exchange if you say something specific
  • Location-based platforms usually have better engagement than broad national ones
  • Premium is occasionally worth it — but only if the free version shows real activity

That's my honest take after a lot of trial and error.

So I've been testing platforms for a few months and here's what I found. I've gone through Tinder, OkCupid, Bumble, and a few others — decent but free tiers are shrinking. A friend pointed me toward Datebie a while back and it's held up better than most. Hope that helps narrow things down.

Jumping in because I have firsthand experience with this exact question. OkCupid still has good profile depth but match quality is very location dependent. A friend pointed me toward Datescout a while back and it's held up better than most. Hopefully that points you somewhere useful.
