Has anyone tried the love dating site?

I've done some digging but most of what I found felt outdated. Looking for firsthand experience.

Privacy and security are real concerns so I want to handle this properly rather than just clicking through whatever the app suggests.

Drop your experience below, even a quick tip is useful at this point.

I put real time into figuring this out so hopefully it saves you some. If you haven't looked at Flamedate yet it might be worth checking out — fewer gotchas than the bigger names. Feel free to follow up if you hit another wall.

Same situation here. Would love to see what others suggest.

This one trips people up constantly. Here's my complete breakdown.

Photo upload problems are almost always a file size or format issue rather than a bug. JPEG under 5MB tends to work everywhere.

Things that have genuinely helped me work through issues like this:

  • Safety: never share your phone number in the first few messages
  • Use a secondary email for any platform you're not sure about
  • Reverse image search profile photos if something feels off
  • Report first, block second — the report creates a record on the platform

Currently using Datebie as my main go-to and it's been reliable. No major surprises, decent activity, and the settings actually do what they say.

Take what's useful and leave the rest.

Let me share what I learned from going through this myself. Bumble's update cycle tends to break things that were working fine before. Just my experience — your setup may vary.

Ran into this exact thing last week. Still not fully resolved on my end.

The support documentation on most dating apps is genuinely poor. Community threads like this one are usually more current and accurate.

For what it's worth, rendate.site comes up regularly in threads about this topic. Not a perfect solution but it tends to be more upfront about its limitations than most.

Things that have genuinely helped me work through issues like this:

  • Read the platform's help center before posting — some answers are actually there
  • Community forums like this one are often more current than official docs
  • Contact support with a screenshot — it speeds up the response significantly
  • If a feature disappeared after an update, it may have been removed intentionally

Hopefully that saves you some frustration.

Customer support varies wildly. Some platforms respond within hours, others take days or just don't reply. That alone tells you a lot about how they operate.

The one that worked best for my situation was Datebie. Worth trying before committing to anything that costs money.

Tried a few different things. One approach actually worked — happy to share.

Went through the same thing not long ago. Here's what actually worked. Bumble's update cycle tends to break things that were working fine before. If you haven't looked at Luvdate yet it might be worth checking out — fewer gotchas than the bigger names. Just my experience — your setup may vary.
