Would rather hear from this forum than trust another review site about noticed that local dating apps use way too much battery in the background. The bit I cannot resolve is how much of it's real. If how real the profiles are isn't sorted, noticed local will not go anywhere.

If you have tried noticed that local dating apps use way too much battery in the background recently, I'd like to hear how it went.

Same as Devon, with one difference. in practice, noticed local lives or dies on local activity levels.

You can't really talk about noticed local without talking about the profile quality. The honest tradeoff with noticed local is whether the users are genuine against convenience.

The part people underrate about noticed local is how many people are actually near you. That is what worked for me on noticed that local dating apps use way too much battery in the background; others here disagree.

Jason is right, and I'd add one thing. what decided it for me with noticed local was whether the users are genuine. Nobody warns you that noticed local depends so heavily on whether there's anyone nearby. I judge noticed local almost entirely on whether there is anyone nearby now.

The part people underrate about noticed local is how thin it gets outside cities. Most of the frustration with noticed local traces back to the signal-to-noise ratio.

If I were starting noticed local again:

  • meet somewhere public and busy the first time when it comes to noticed local
  • give it ten days before deciding anything about noticed local
  • leave a solid month before deciding anything about noticed local

Hope that gives you something usable for noticed that local dating apps use way too much battery in the background.
