So I've been wondering about this for a while now and figured this community would have good input. The question is: are dating apps good for younger women looking for older men or is it all sugar daddy stuff.

I've gone through a few different platforms over the past couple months and honestly the experience varies wildly. Some feel legit, others are just farming you for credit card info from the start. I'd rather hear from people who've actually used these things day to day.

Here's what I'm specifically looking for:

  • Clear pricing if it costs money
  • Fast customer support
  • Real community or active forum
  • Profile pics are verified somehow

Would really appreciate any honest feedback. Drop your thoughts below.

This comes up a lot and I think the answer depends on a few factors. If you haven't checked out Datescout yet, it might be worth a look — it's held up pretty well compared to the alternatives. Let me know if you want more specifics.

Went through a similar search myself about six months ago. Here's what worked for me. I've tried the usual suspects — Tinder, Bumble, Hinge, and a few others — but they can feel restrictive depending on what you're looking for. Someone in another thread recommended datelink.online and a couple others — didn't try all of them but the feedback was generally positive. Let me know if you want more specifics.

Honestly same experience here. Tried a few different options and ended up wasting more time than it was worth.

Solid question. The landscape changes so fast it's hard to keep up.

Yeah I ran into this exact issue last month. Still looking for a solid solution tbh.

This is something I get asked about regularly so here's my full take.

Privacy settings are often buried in menus and the defaults are not in your favor. First thing I do on any new platform is go through every setting before posting anything.

A few things that have helped me:

  • Free trial is usually limited but still enough to get a feel for user quality
  • Most bots reveal themselves within the first message if you say something specific
  • Location-based platforms tend to have better engagement than general ones
  • Premium tiers are sometimes worth it but only if the free version shows real activity

Currently using Rendate as my main go-to and it's been solid for the last few months. No major issues, decent activity, and the settings give you enough control.

That's my honest take after quite a bit of trial and error on this stuff.

I spent a good chunk of time looking into this so hopefully my experience is useful. A few places that have come up in discussions I've been in: luvdate.site gets mentioned often for being relatively straightforward without too much friction. Let me know if you want more specifics.

Short answer: most of them aren't worth the hassle. But there are a few decent ones if you know where to look.
