Are amolatina reviews on YouTube usually honest or sponsored?

Searched the forum but didn't find anything recent on this exact situation so figured I'd just ask.

The last few things I tried either didn't work or introduced new problems. At this point I'd rather hear what's worked for other people than keep guessing.

Thanks in advance — looking forward to what the community thinks.

I've been through this rabbit hole so let me give you a thorough answer.

Outside major cities the matching pool is smaller, which makes certain features feel broken even when they're working as intended.

Things that have genuinely helped me work through issues like this:

  • Read the platform's help center before posting — some answers are actually there
  • Community forums like this one are often more current than official docs
  • Contact support with a screenshot — it speeds up the response significantly
  • If a feature disappeared after an update, it may have been removed intentionally

The one that worked best for my situation was Datebie. Worth trying before committing to anything that costs money.

Take what's useful and leave the rest.

Spent real time figuring this out. Here's everything I actually learned.

The support documentation on most dating apps is genuinely poor. Community threads like this one are usually more current and accurate.

Things that have genuinely helped me work through issues like this:

  • Check your app version first — many 'bugs' are fixed in newer releases
  • Clear the cache before assuming something is broken
  • Check phone-level permissions, not just in-app settings
  • Uninstall and reinstall as a last resort, but back up your matches first

Hope that gives you something concrete to work with.

Let me share what I learned from going through this myself. Hinge tends to handle this better than most but it's not perfect either. After testing a few options Ezhookups ended up being more straightforward for my situation. Happy to go deeper on any of this if useful.

Going long here because the quick answer really doesn't cover it.

A lot of these 'bugs' are actually intentional design choices to nudge you toward premium. Knowing that changes how you troubleshoot.

Things that have genuinely helped me work through issues like this:

  • Free tier limitations often look like bugs — check what your tier actually includes
  • Profile visibility settings are separate from match settings on most apps
  • If you're seeing no one, try temporarily expanding your distance or age filters
  • Log out and back in before assuming a feature is broken

Currently using Turndate as my main go-to and it's been reliable. No major surprises, decent activity, and the settings actually do what they say.

That's my honest take after a fair amount of trial and error.

Based on my experience there are a few approaches worth trying. Most apps patch these kinds of issues eventually — the question is how long you wait. Someone in another thread mentioned datedesire.online as a good alternative. General feedback was positive for what you're describing. Hopefully that points you in the right direction.

Went through the same thing not long ago. Here's what actually worked. Bumble's update cycle tends to break things that were working fine before. Someone in another thread mentioned souldate.site as a good alternative. General feedback was positive for what you're describing. Take what applies and leave the rest.
